If you haven't signed your child up for the Summer Food Service Progam and you plan to, please contact the library by 10 AM tomorrow. This is just to get a count to see if we qualify. I will keep you updated as we get more information.
The newsletter will be sent to PSU tomorrow. I apologize again for the delay. We should have a director announcement soon and hopefully May's Newsletter will be on schedule. If you have a graduate you would like published in May's Newsletter please send their name, school, and parent's name to books@ckt.net and put graduate in the subject box.
There will be no Story Time this week. Southeast Elementary will be bringing classes over to take a tour of the library and museum. Thursday, April 25 there will be a group from 1-2 PM. Tuesday, April 30, there will be a group from 10-11 AM and another from 1-2 PM.
The next board meeting is 6PM on May, 2.

Stop by and plant a couple Sunflower seeds to celebrate Earth Day a couple days early! (As long as supplies last) The library is open 9-1 today. (4- 20-24)

Story Time 4-18-24 at 10:00 AM. We will be planting seeds( aka playing in dirt) and crafting (with paint) so make sure your child dresses accordingly. Hope to see you tomorrow!

I have been in contact with Greenbush about the KSDE Summer Food Service Program that runs June through beginning of August. I do not have a lot of information other than it is free for ages 1-18. To get the process rolling to see if we qualify, I need an approximate head count. If you think your child or children will participate, it is very important you get in touch with me. You can call me at 620-632-4112 or come in and see me at the library T or TH from 9:30-6 or Saturday from 9-1. I need to know by Tuesday, April 23 by 11:00 AM. I don't want to turn any child away because we don't have enough food so please contact me!!!
