Thanks to Southeast Kansas Library System and an amazing grant they received, we have the Digital Sandbox on loan at least through Saturday. Come enjoy Augmented Reality at its best! We have Sense of Wonder Childcare coming in the morning, so it will not be available until 10:45 tomorrow. Then it will be unavailable during the Summer Food Service Program from 11:30-12:30. Per library policy, all children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. If needed, a time limit might be enforced so all can get a chance to enjoy.

There is a Community Back 2 School Bash Planning Meeting Tonight at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in the library hall. Any organization, church, club, or business is encouraged to attend.

Help join us in welcoming the newest member to the McCune Osage Township Library team. Lance Denham is our new Library Assistant.
Here is a little information to help you to get to know Lance a little better.
*Lance lives in Girard and in his spare time he likes to play Dungeons and Dragons, chess, and video games. He also enjoys photography and poetry.
* He is interested in a career in the library field.
*Lance has volunteered in an elementary school and has experience working with children.
*He is community oriented and is excited to get to know our amazing patrons!
*Lance is tech savvy! (WOOHOO)
