We are hiring an Assistant Librarian.

If you are reliable, flexible, have good customer service skills engaging with a wide range of patrons of all ages, experience with children, and community oriented -this job might be for you!

Job Description: the Library Assistant supports the Library Director by managing daily library operations. This position also requires cleaning.

Requirements: * Must be 18 years or older * Must be able to work T and Th 9:30-6 and Sat 9-1 * Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds * Have basic computer skills * Must uphold privacy and library policies and procedures* Must be able to pass a background check

Details: *Starting pay $7.25 an hour-based on performance a raise may be given after 90 days* 17-21 hours a week * Paid Holidays:(if they fall on library days) New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day Saturday, Fourth of July, Labor Day Saturday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
