How Do I Get a Library Card and What Does It Cost?
To get a library card you may either come into the library and fill out a Library Card Form or we can email the form to you. Just fill it out and send it back to us. All library cards are held here at the library, but you can go to any SEKLS library and give them your name, and they can check items out to you.
There is no cost to have a card at our library.
Does The Museum Participate in The SEK Museum Alliance Passport Program? Do You Have Passports Available?
Yes the McCune Osage Township Museum does participate in the passport program. We do have passports available, you can come in any time the library is open or make a special appointment with Roy Parsons to come into the museum to receive one.
How Do I Get a State Library Card?
A state library card can be obtained at any local library. The library director can assist you in getting or updating your current state library card. They will need to have a current email address, your full name, and birthdate. A state library card is good for 3 years from date of issue.
What Digital Services Do You Supply or Have Access To?
We provide online access to hoopla Digital (a streaming service for ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music, and more), the Kansas State Library, and to SEKnFind.
Do You Have a Copier, Fax Machine, or Access to a Computer?
Yes, we can help you make copies ( $0.35 per page, and we can laminate for $0.50 per sheet).
We do have a fax machine and it is $0.35 per page. We have six (6) patron computers available for use, and all of them have a Microsoft Office on them and can access the Internet. We also have 5 Kindles.
Do You Have Free Wi-Fi?
Yes, you may connect to the McCune Library Free Wi-Fi, even outside the building.
How Much Does It Cost to Rent The Frank D. Dunnick Hall?
The Hall is available on a first come first serve basis. It is $45.00 to rent and also requires a $35.00 deposit.
Do You Provide Tutoring Services or Can Someone Help Our Child with Homework?
Yes, we can help with your children’s homework on Tuesday and Thursday when school is in session from 4:00-5:45. Please give us 24 hours notice.
When Is the Museum Open?
Yes, the museum is open the same days and times as the library, or a special showing can be arranged with Roy Parsons by calling the library’s phone number.
How Do I Receive a Neighborhood Newsletter?
Please send us a check for the annual amount of $12.00 to the McCune Osage Township Library with a current mailing address. You may also come into the library or museum and request one.
